FRUSTRATED EMPLOYEE... SO CALLED PA

Daily disorganized, crises management, no structures, no planning. I am a great believer in the 5P... Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performamce. Dislikes -moving ofmemployees around no matter their career choice; NO benefits; I was appointed as a PA for the MD, who never had PA, and cant let go, now after the Spa Manager resigmed at the resort, Imhave been appoimted as a Spa Manager, (with no training or experiemce in this field whatsoever, this is driving me insane, and being away from my family at least 2-3 nights a week, which is not what I have been appoimted for. Do all purchases all kiosks and curio shops. I am a proud PA. I accept and adapt easily with different cultures and get alomg with alllmost anybody. From where I come from with my experience I prefer still to be a PA, not a purchaser or spa manage which is npt my field.

Slow, unprofessional, frustrating.

Slow, unprofessional, frustrating. Company is stuck in the old ways and owners have no idea of how the tourism industry works. Not a company you would stay with for a long period. Also going through financial problems.

Good learning experience

Hospitality field Hotels, lodges & resorts worked in the events management, Housekeeping & Reservations Management is poorly coordinated and no staff appreciation. Poor working conditions and overtime payment not paid out. Low salaries payout and no 13th cheque, no pension fund and provident fund, no medical aid and no maternity benefits.

Pros: good learning phase
Cons: no benefits
