Excellent learning

I’ve learnt so much in the company that I know how to fix most problems when they are thrown at me. I would love to grow and further my knowledge ,however there’s never room for growth inside the company.

Pros: Great teamwork and salary
Cons: Long hours and shifts

My previous experience

About my experience I enjoyed being at work everyday, assisting customers and going the extra mile. I had a great relationship with my everyone else around me, but always took my job seriously. I have learnt how deal with customers on a daily, as well as the product. The most challenging aspect for me was dealing with difficult customers, but I’ve learnt how to handle them.

Pros: The training is very informative
Cons: Long to become permanent and earn a decent salary

Great opportunity

Typical work day would include opening up the store and making sure the store is neat and tidy and ready for business. Store merchandising has to be according to Le Creuset standards . Rest of the day assisting customers with queries , admin and generate sales from each walk-in customer. Co-workers are amazing , great spirit , energy and always positive. Real hard working ladies. Put your best foot forward or else it is all going to crumble. The best part of my job is dealing with the customers and ensuring they get the most of the product chosen. Customer satisfaction really. Managements nearsightedness.

Pros: great company , huge exposure to the finer things in life
Cons: long hours , limited time off

Great opportunities for growth

Great team and management. Beautiful working environment with friendly people who always available to help and pshare ideas. A best customer service is top priority at Le Creuset and the staff knows product knowledge which makes it easy to assist customers, making extra sure a customer is served effectively and leaves the store satisfied. Merchandising is made fun, this is the department I enjoyed fully. We are given an opportunity to be creative in making sure the products are displayed clearly and easily accessible to a customer to attract more sales. Reaching monthly target is not difficult although there are stores situated in quieter areas and because of that they struggle to make budget. Great company and so much to learn everyday.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

The one that got away

Alalways busy, never a quiet moment. wmost staff are very nice, welcoming. Upper management, and area managers are hard on store managers. There is favouritism within the company, so if u not part of the cool group, u are easily expendable. aysa

Pros: Popular brand
Cons: Upper management if bias

Valuable Customer Service

Working in retail has taught me how extremely important it is to deliver the best in whatever you do, in my case it was customer service. Creating a great experience for customers was important in not only making monthly targets but also having customers return and be loyal to the company. I've learnt how to work well independently and within a team (communication is key). Communicating daily telephoncally and via email has expanded my knowledge of the English language which would benefit me in any customer facing or communication role. I've learnt how important a positive attitude is in the work place and how it can impact everyone around you to be the best employee.

Pros: Great salary
Cons: Shifts
