A typical day at Lasec would include an 8:30 meeting with the branch managers, followed by some morning admin and extra planning for the day ahead. I would then check-in with my internal support colleague to ensure that we are both on the same page, before heading out to visit clients for the rest of the day. My relationship with my co-workers is always respectful, professional and friendly. I am an optimist! I have learnt more than what can fit in this review but in short - thinking out of the box and keeping your mind focussed creates unique opportunities with strong results.The part I enjoy most about my work is the interaction with people and getting to meet new faces from different walks of life. The most challenging aspect of the job was dealing with unhappy clients due to internal issues (typically logistics). Nothing that I could not overcome.

Cons: Some targets and deadlines are unrealistic

I have done a course at Damelin and currently busy with my Metric.

I am in charge of Receiving department and received all imported stock working directly from the Production Manager booking stock in the system and process to the warehouse busy with returns and planning containers delivery of stock into the building .

Pros: I am willing to learn and eager for new opportunity
Cons: Working Monday to Friday and on Saturday when requested

Perfect for entry level.

Great ti wirk forat an entry level. If yu need growth ook elsewhr. If you want to study and work I shighly receommend comany but if yu wat a peace f mind and finacnail freeedom not the greatest but kay for a start.

Pros: Excellent for entry level.
Cons: No growth and employee to management governing systems.

Good company for me the long run but not good to employees

I do not enjoy working at Lasec anymore. It has been a hard 3 years and for months, the people are rude and nasty to one another. There is no respect.

Cons: Only certain people gets opportunities

Warehouse assistant

I always start my day off with a cup of coffee and check my emails. Then i follow up on everything that has left the past day and capture them on our log sheet.

Pros: i am being sent for chemical training
Cons: we never work over time or any long hours

A typical work day consists of attending to equipment

A typical work day consists of attending to clients and the calibration, maintenance and repair of their equipment. Completing of admin and having lovely cups of coffee doing so. Opportunities to be up-skilled on their equipment ranges and travel into Africa for jobs.

Excellent Company with many benefits

High pressure environment, with high reward. Gained excellent knowledge and application of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 as well as CE marking requirements. Healthy work work/life balance. The most challenging part of this job is sales feedback regarding Order pipeline and future business.

Pros: Bonus based on Company Performance
Cons: Non Visibility of sales pipeline
