Giant Mistake

The environment is good, there are some really smart people who know what they're doing. And then there's my assistant who only knows two phrases... 'No' and 'I don't know'. Aside from him we have an idiotic graphic designer whose only concern seems to be how he can short-change the general staff and bow down at the feet of management, which itself is comprised of empty tins who would really not get very far without the help of Grammarly. The overall experience leaves you with a strong desire to sniff hand sanitiser until you're high so you can for at least a few seconds forget that you work in that excuse for a shipping company. Just to add to the misery and the general low morale, we were basically forced to watch a man die of cancer. Like watch him take his final breath under the pretence of 'showing love'. Land & Sea Shipping is a hell-hole. As a developer I'm constantly looking for new opportunities, but I somehow got told I was over-qualified 4 times now.

Learning curve in Airfreight

- Its always busy, flights turn-around time is 24hours - Work well and have good communicating relationship with my co-workers - Airfreight is new to me and learning about it everyday ever since I'm there - Enjoy new challenges the most within the Airfreight - Most challenging aspect was to do Import Airfreight

Pros: Learning opportunity
Cons: Long working hours
