Very Satisfyig!

I am currently a Farm, Project and Manager with LAMS (Lowveld Agricultural Management Services) in Mpumalanga where I am involved with the establishment and development of a vegetable outgrowing program for Woolworhts, Pick ‘n Pay, & Spar Freshline etc. Previous employers include the Langeloop Agricultural Coöperative and Bay Drive Trading / Masibuyele Emasimini, a program of the Department of Agriculture Rural Development and Land Administration (DARDLA). I am now looking for a challenging new position. My passion for management and business operations is matched by my experience of over 15 years. I consistently strive to achieve results, ensure adherence to laws rules and regulations and constantly promote a culture of safety in the workplace. I am confident that with my combination of education, skills and experience I could be a valued asset on your team. It is quite rewarding and fulfilling.

Growth

It is a typical farm setup. Everyday people have to be task for the day. Communication to workers is quite essential to get the desired results. My relationship with with workers is open but honest. I have learned that you must take decisions distinctively. Agriculture is life, it is fascinating to work with growth. Seonsonal and market trends is the big challenbe in the industry.

Pros: Highly Fulfilling
Cons: Ups and downs of agriculture.

Growth Opportunity

Typical farming operation. Start early morning with program spraying, fertilizers, planting, picking & prioritizing activities. I have a open relationship with my workers, managers & colleags. One must be decisive and straight especially when you work with a large labor force. I enjoy working with growth & life. Agricultural biggest challenge is the marketing side that can make or brake a venture.

Pros: Working outdoors with plant growth and life.
Cons: Pro's an cons of agriculture.

Excellent stepping up opportunity

Accountability and commitment to company objectives

Start early lay out all the duties for the day. Got to communicate properly that each and everyone understands exactly what is expected from them to achieve the expected result. Don't take thinkgs for granted, don't accept that people understand what you trying to say, make sure. There is a lot of gratitude and fulfilment when people progress in life. Plant growth from a seed to a fruit is very addictive. The political aspects in our country make things quite challenging!

Pros: Very fulfilling, work with a lot of people, satisfying to see people grow.
Cons: Lot of hours, work with a lot of uneducated people that can be challenging.

Growth Opportunity

Typical agriculture operation that start early every morning laying out duties of the day according to various programs. I follow an open but straight relationship with workers, and co-workers. One must be decisive and don't beat around the bush. I love working with different kind of people and unique personalities. Keeping up with market conditions, demand and production challenges to deliver products on time.

Excellent stepping up opportunity

A typical farm environment where you start early make sure everybody is tasked, know exactly what they must do according to production plan. My relationship with co-workers is quite straight and honest. The best approach is to be pro active and sincere with workers. I'm addicted to natural growth and life outside in nature. It is quite a challenge to line up something that is so rewarding with market demand and cycles to reach company profitability.

Pros: Quite rewarding as you work outdoors a lot, and plants react to your interventions.
Cons: Affected by the economy, markets, climate etc.
