Excellent working environment

I enjoyed my working day. We worked hard but still had time for laughs. The atmosphere was relaxed most days. Month ends were stressful as all the documentation, VAT and salaries had to be submitted on time in order for everyone to get paid.

Pros: Flexi hours which allowed for a balanced work day
Cons: High stress levels

Excellent working environment

Our main focus was on applying for tenders. When we were awarded a project the operation ran very smoothly from Management level to the general workers. The office staff were all on good terms and we all supported each other tremendously. Many of the projects took us into new territory and we had to learn the various aspects of the work. I enjoyed the camaraderie of the work place and miss the team that we built up. The worst day was when the owner of the Company announced that she had no choice but to retrench her staff members.

Pros: We were cared for and made to feel like part of a family.
Cons: We never had enough tenders to keep the company going.
