Great opportunity for growth

Entails ensuring that suppliers are paid on time and dealing with other company stakeholders and resolution of any queries that may arise. My relationship with my co-workers is something I hold very highly. My motto is to respect one another and work together to achieve our goals. I've learnt that being a team player changes the ball game in the sense that if we work as a team we can achieve more. What I enjoy most is working with different people and forming strong work relationships in the process. The most challenging aspects of the job is dealing with difficult suppliers and sometimes company stakeholders that always need that extra push in order to get things done. With my past experiences, I always offer my help in order to fast track the resolution of queries.

Great technical experience

Working at Lafarge Industries is a great experience as I learn how to work well with others and face new challenges everyday. I'm not restricted to just electrical problems only but as well as instrumentation, automation and mechanical too. I love facing challenges head on and always willing to go the extra mile to get things done.

Good challenging opportunity and gained a lot of a well centralized international company

Good conducive environmemt, area of work is in a small town, not attractive, good company culture and transparency. Work life balance can be improved and accomodation.

Lafarge has given me the platform to hone my skills as a sales / orders administrator

Lafarge is a very "hands on"as well paying attention to detail in the position I'm in. Working with people, be it customers or staff is must..as my position was part of a support function to sales managers. So it's very important to have a good understanding on everyone's personalities and adapting to it as best as you can. I have a good relationship with my co-workers, hence me working with the company for 15 years.

Pros: Always learning on the job and being exposed to different ideas and structures taking place.
Cons: Not always meeting demands of customers based on the industry I'm working in.

Is been a pleasure working for lafarge

Is been a wonderful experience to work at industry, The office future, was good, the way they handle their AP department is very different, and even clients / vendors were happy because they were paid in time, their recons are different, and very detailed

Pros: Opportunities of growth was there, AP controllers they take charge of their own accounts, there was no micro managing,
Cons: No sub offices for procurement
