Committee Coordinator-Assistant Director

The Legislature is one of the executive arm of government in the province of KZN, attached to it are various committees, one of which I coordinated viz; the health portfolio committee, which is mandated by the constitution of SA, to exercise oversight on the Dept. of Health in KZN. The health committee comprises a multi-party membership, headed by the Chairperson. My function was to support the functioning of the committee on a daily basis. My function necessitated a collegial relationship with all internal and external co-workers. Many aspects of good dialogue, clear communication and collegiality were learnt to enhance positive outcomes. A sense of urgency, clear communication and good work ethic provides for ones well being in the work -place. Ad hoc meetings always presents pressure to one's sense of time management, but one always learns coping mechanisms.

Cons: Travelling from Durban to Pietermaritzburg every day

Yes I must say that I have learnt from my job and wish to enhance others

I am a people person and take my job seriously.I have excellent communication skills and my ability to perform within organization will be my expertise.monitoring and evaluation is my core and I work well in a team. My ability to train,teach and mentor others makes me who I am. I am totally passionate about getting the job done.I will be an asset to your company.At my work place I always put the client or customer first.I ensure that communication is of high importance.
