A day in the life of a doctor in Newcastle

day would involve startinmg off by meeting your colleagies, most of whom you can enjoy a lengthy coversation with but usually due to time constraints its limited to a passing sanibonani, as sson as you can you start with seeing patients; either in the wards or in the clinics. More often than not they know your name and are waiting to hear if they are cured from Tb or they are getting discharged. The vast majority respond really weel to treatment and make a significant rtecovery. unfortuantely there are the few that are seen too late by hospital services and are too far gone to save. But you take what you gewt and do your best. opverall there is great satisfaction in helping the neediest of people and the abitility to do this with like minded colleagues is genuinely rewarding
