Good excellent

I really enjoy my work though the hours are longer but I havejust happy i happy that I am employed. Relationship with my workers is great treating each other like brothers and sister's n I get . Get to learn lot in them like we resection each other how to handle problems from difficult customers and solving problems making orders for the shop so we don't run out of stock. I enjoy being in the front row especially when we have shortage of staff I love being there to hand the hand. Mostly it's challenging when you a supervisor and you younger than the people you suppose to a control a or rather they have to report to me cause I'm younger than them.

Buyer and admin

Buying, price update, cash ups, General office duties, posters, labels packing floats, safe update,allergens, statements , filing. Work eith suppliers, weekly's and daily reports

Gain lot of experience

I'm grateful I've learned a lot i can handle everything comes My way because I started as a cashier after a while I worked i fruits and vegetables department and ended up working as a store merchandiser helping the receiving Check.

Excellent learning curve

Recruiting staff, payroll and hr management, admin duties. Mediating between staff and management, great relationship with staff. Learnt how to work on various systems and to manage a retail store I enjoy that staff and culture the most Keeping the peace and making sure everyone is happy

Great opportunity to learn new things

Our shop opens at 6am to 10pm We work 8 hours shifts,morning shift start at 6 am untill 2 and afternoon it 13:00 to 22:00 U hav to be a fast learner because we are working at a very busy area. I've learnt to be able to work under pressure I've learned to work in team

Pros: great opportunity for experience in retail
Cons: long working hours and lack of transport at night

IM WILLING TO LEARN WHAT I DONT KNOW. IM A FAST LEARNER

CONFUSED!!! WHEN I STARTED WORKING AT KWIKSPAR THERE WASNT TIME TO FEED ME WITH A SPOON. WATCH AND LEARN. I CATCHED UP QUICKLY. ALTHOUGH I MUST SAY IT MYSELF. DATA CAPTURING WAS THE BEST AND I ALSO LIKED HELPING OUT AT RECEIVING. GIVING A HAND EVERYWHERE......

Pros: YOU HAD TO LEARN FAST.
Cons: 14H DOUBLE SHIFTING
