Great start up with dynamic team

I work a with really dynamic team. Creativity comes naturally. I have a great relationship with the team, we all bounce ideas off each other to see what would be the best creative direction. I am the team leader of a small team of Motion Graphics designers, we report in collectively to the creative director. I meet with department leads to compile the creative briefs and requirements, I would then assign jobs the designers and take on quite a few jobs on my own. A typical day would be a quick catch up with the team over a cup of coffee to see what jobs are on the go and needs to be delivered on that specific day. The best part of the job is seeing my work as well as my teams creative work up on air and the web. Some of the challenges would include indecisive clients or demanding clients but that goes with all creative industries.

Pros: Great opportunity to grow a new brand across Africa
Cons: we got paid really late some times

Excellent learning curve

I used to work as a customer service provider and it was a great learning experience and opportunity. It broadened my knowledge as I got to work with different customers from different countries. I also learned telephone etiquette which is now a bonus because I now know that there is a certain way to engage with people. A typical day at work would include getting calls, attending to emails and answering we chats. My relationship with co-workers was good. As they say even if you're having a bad day, leave all the baggage at the door so that the work environment can be pleasant. I've learnt to engage with different races and what I loved the most was that this was a great learning curve. The most ch part of the job was getting calls back to back, but as time went by, I managed.

Pros: The incentives
Cons: Moody management
