Very figure orientated

Handling cash sales and payments. Invoicing and data capturing. Debt collection of outstanding customer accounts. Making sure that payments are punctual. Typing of loadsheets for drivers. Handling petty cash. Interaction with customers regarding queries. I enjoy my current position because it is challenging and one day is never the same as the next. I have 2 Admin colleagues, and therefore I also assist them when needed, that also makes me feel fulfilled, in my daily routine in the office. I get along with all cultures, which means I get along with the packers, drivers and reps.

Pros: I do various duties not just my own, so i am multi skilled in that way.
Cons: No oppertunity for salary raise or promotion.

Senior Administration Officer

I have an interesting accounts position but also assist other administrators in the office, thus multi-tasking which is my forte. My workday also includes debt collecting, accounts reconciliations and data capturing. My co-workers and I have a very relaxed but professional relationship, and the most enjoyable part of my day is to hear from my employer that the customers are paying their accounts and how much they pay, which give me a feeling of accomplishment and a task well done. The challenging part of my job is to persist in a task until the positive results are gained.

Cons: No promotional prospects
