The learning curve as a Facilitator

Register and screening with learners in the morning. Preparing to govto the dairy and cheese farm. Students are exposed to practical work until th afternoon. I work well with my coworkers. I have learnt to be resilient, more driven and being able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. I enjoy working with the students more. Intellectually impaired students are a challenge to teach however their willingness keeps the motivation amongst the group.

Pros: Working with intellectually impaired students who are willing to learn more
Cons: Having to explain modules thoroughly

Good exposure to other sides of Agriculture

a typical day includes, writing the road mad for the day, admin- signing of register and leave form for learners, facilitating, marking the activities, conducting practical, coming up with different methodologies to deliver the content, conducting assessments, compiling weekly reports and the following weeks plans

Pros: Working in doors and access to the internet
Cons: handling learner behaviour
