Excellent learning curve

I have to check that all the machines are set correctly for the jobs and that all the machines have work to do. I have to check that everyone is working and that they are doing the jobs right. I have to check the quality of the jobs and report to my manager. I have to help my co-employees if they are struggling with a job. I have a good relationship with my co-employees but I am also very firm. I am not there to make friends but to do my job. I have learned a lot at my company and have done my Trade Test through them. I have learned how to run a and set a machine and I am a qualified machine operator. I have also learned leadership skills and how to work under pressure. I enjoy working with people. The most challenging aspects of my job is to make sure that the jobs finishes in time and that we make our targets that is set out for us and that all the machines runs smoothly.

Currently on contract do not have permanent position and not my field.

I am currently working at Keypak as a Stripping Supervisor on contract basis this is the only position that I could find. This is also not in my field of work.

Ive learnt to work under the weakest of conditions and stil give an excellent seevixe

Im a hard worker, quick learner, team player but i can work on my own as well. I have a high working rate and always looking to grow myself within a company.

No more room for growth

Extremely long hours of work, as a typical day starts at 04:45am and ends around 22:30pm due to 24 hour production. Certain co-workers claim to be team players, but have cultivated a "back stabbing" culture. NO corporate structure leads to tedious meetings with unnecessary interruptions. The most important aspect I have learnt is to drive staff to attain company's goals set. Most enjoyable aspect of my job is the deadline driven environment. Most challenging aspect is the lack of professionalism

It is a great learning curve.

I am grateful for the opportunity because I am a bit out of my comfort zone as I work in the finance department and this is a first for me. I have learned how to work with invoices as I work closely with invoicing clerks and have also basic Pastel knowledge which I have acquired whilst here. I get along well with co-workers as everyone is accommodating. I enjoy the classes I have every Tuesday as part of my theory. It is there where I absorb all the knowledge regarding Generic Management.

Stock count, order check, data capturing, following up on orders, stock movement, placing orders.

Hey, I'm responsible for the orders that come in and out and its my job to make sure all orders are full. I have to capture everything in a database (always keep a manual list). Stock take every day of every thing. I'm hold responsible of all order. I follow order from my supervisor and manager well. I'm always open minded and fast learner.

Cons: 12hour shifts

Learnt alot about cartons how they are made

always busy enjoy getting things out quickly and smoothly to keep everything updated and stocks are on time get deliveries out at as quick as possible

Pros: great company to learn alot about packaging
Cons: management do not appreciate good staff
