Excellent learning curve for you as a person and as a profesional and to further your knowledge.
In 2004, I moved to Port Elizabeth and joined the Kelston Motor Group. I was later transferred to our Commercial Branch and promoted to Workshop Manager. Daily requirements included, but were not limited to, helping Service Advisors with booking in of vehicles, distributing workload between technicians in workshop, test driving vehicles with technician before and after service and or repairs were carried out. Working out quotes for additional repairs needed and explaining to customers the need for additional work to be carried out. Daily purchases of consumables needed in workshop and keeping stock of consumables in stock and maintaining budget as low as possible. The most enjoyable aspect of this type of work, you learn new things every day. Every day is a new learning curve from how to handle different customers in different situations and keeping a customer happy if the promised time of delivery is not met. The challenge is to never loose your ability to calm the situation down. Thank you very much.
Pros: Great opertunaty to further your learning expiriance and throuhg that, better oprtunaty for promotions.
Cons: If you are happy in your work, there should not be any cons.

Hard working individual needing a change
Work days are stressful and leaves little time to take a break during the day. Love working with my co workers, we support each other. I’ve learned a lot in the 11 years working myself up in the company. I find the past 3 years the balance of personal and work life have gotten worse and there is no proper time ever to take leave and recharge. At the moment it’s difficult finding anything I enjoy about my job although I love what I do if that makes sense.
Pros: Stable and secure
Cons: Not enough staff
