My standard daily duties is to manage stock levels, keep customer service at its best, manage my staff, entering invoice, placing orders, dealing with complaints, on the job training of all my staff and maintaining a clean working environment. I have daily issues i.e blenders broken, or supplier delivers incorrect items or even damaged or expired items, it is my responsibility to ensure that we receive correct stock and credit notes where applicable. My team at Kauai consists of 2 cashiers, 2 kitchen staff and 1 supervisor and we get along very well, My staff knows I have an open door policy Being the manager of the store has been difficult at some times where staff just leaves without notice but I have learnt that I need to toughen up and just find better staff an look after the staff I have. The one thing I enjoy the most is the fact that I built close relationships with my regular customers and taking care of all my customer's needs is why I am in this industry.

Excellent learning experence of the health food industry
Managing of 10 staff members, make sure that the morning shift staff is there 30 min before the gym opens,because Kauai was based in a flagship of virgin active. Insure Preparations for breakfast,lunch are done on time. Make sure the camera is setup and recording. Monitor cashier and make sure there is enough cash flow for the day. take inventory of stock, place orders with food vendor of stock needed. Do regular checks on appliances. educate staff on health and safety issues. Do bookings for staff training offsite. Make sure daily banking is done before the shift changes of the staff members. Assist cashier with end of day balancing. Lessons learned was the following dealing with all types of customers staff interaction, health food industry,health inspection,labour law. Enjoyed meeting new people being customers, vendors ,banking staff. challenging part of the job getting staff members to adhere to the policies of the store,customer complaints.

Great experience
QNhwgysjsjzvhWorking att kauai restaurafjjnt turnedgejwjj toout working at kauai was such a great experience for me because I got to about alot of things that I didn't know existed or were that much important, so I started Asa cashier, then after that, I was learning how to make the healthiest smoothies and then we went to the kitchen for some coocking lessons and also learning about how to prepare the healthiest meal. Even though making food became one of the things I liked most doing at work, the were also some challenges with the customers who had other exceptions for their meals

One of the best work places
Working for Kauai has been quite rewarding it gives you the opportunity to grow as a person and to interact with people from all works of life.Learning is a constant as this industry require consistent service.

Good company
I love challenge and take pride in what I do even if that means staying late somenights....I'm quite young man who thinks before speaking I like observing and listening before judging.i m a good problem solver im not the loudest person in the room but you will feel my presence when I'm in the room.im looking forward to her from you.

Best learning experience
Fast paced environment, challenging, great atmosphere, low salaries. The work load doesn't balance out the salary, if the company paid better money, it would be a great place to stay or to be at.
