Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience,

Joyglobal is a very big company in size and footprint, so I get to interact with lot of people from different background. Our department is a supporting structure to all the business units, as a Senior Process Engineer I give support to the Process Engineers that support these business units. The purpose of supporting these business units is to drive the OPEX and give support to production and ensure the operations are running smooth. The challenges we face as Process Engineers is the lack of basic understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing from some of the BU managers which hinders the process of improvement within the organization. With all the knowledge I have to run project, I work close with the Process Engineers to give then guidance and support from start to Finish in every project they undertake.

Pros: Employee of the Month, Promoted to Senior position.
Cons: Long working hours, traveling a lot

I am in quality and promote senior metrologys to head metrology and 3D(CMM) in quality assurance.

Every Monday, it is a review for the metrology lab to check all due,overdue instruments for the week ahead I am in supervision position and my relationship with my colleagues and the subordinates is based on a working relationship where considering ethical of everyone. I have learn lot of things in my 20 years in manufacturing and gained more experience with machining, fabrication, welding and quality with ISO 2001-2008 I am an workalcoolic man I like to learn The program on the 3D but I managing it

Pros: I would like to be a manager in quality either control or assurance
Cons: I work every day till 18h00
