Had a great experience with the job on hand as I am a dedicated person ..

I love honesty you get to work ,do what is on you job description. and do it to exceed all I get on well with co-workers.....I like to help out but they must not make a habit of it. I hate lazy co-workers that sit and chat a lot and the work does not get finish. I enjoy it the most when I have sorted out a problem and the customer is satisfied. I enjoy working with figures and is very organised. I am a very quite person because my work takes priority when I am working

Excellent learning curve

They big up on education and the business employees mostly females. No numbers of males in the office which doesn't balance as they use the warehouse as their backup for hiring males.

Pros: Great place to be when one still want to further their education
Cons: Bad company culture

I am a seasoned website Administrator handling 3 of the company's websites.

I am a seasoned website Administrator handling 3 of the company's websites. My employer is key player in the book publishing industry. Having been in the position for over 4 years, I don’t see any room for growth/promotion.

Pros: It is a good coporate environment with too much to learn and get work experience
Cons: A small marketing team with no room for growth

Typical day at Jonathan Ball Publishers

a typical day at the office would be go the extra mile to assist the customer. i enjoy being around my co workers also speaking to our customers . In my 9 years with the company I now have a better understanding on how the book industry works. the most challenging is coming to work everyday and making sure that all queries of the customers are attended to and going the extra mile for the customer when they have urgent orders to be delivered.

Pros: the benefits for employees are great
Cons: no opportunity for growth in my department
