Johnson has taught me alot is this position and i am great for the learning area.
Overall its a good company... just there is no room to grow in my current positions. Johnson has taught me a lot is this position and i am great for the learning area. Most challenging in my job is getting people to understand different policy and procedures to follow in the company. But in say so I have come out stronger in my daily task and responsibility .

The company that I work for is a big company that has great customer service but it lacks employees fair treatment. There is too much of unfair treatment and the company does not see it as a problem

Excellent exposure
It’s gave me a good exposure into different industries, I’ve had in-depth knowledge of how different industries work, it involves a lot of traveling doing site inspections and meetings. It broadened my technical background and experience.

• Orapa Diamond Mine in Botswana • Chasing leads. • Establishing relationships with new clients. • Negotiating cranes and pricing with the clients. • Getting all the paperwork in order for cranes to enter the mines. • Send customer interaction reports to management monthly. • Sapref Shutdown (Durban) Crane Coordinator • Crane coordinating every morning to ensure cranes are allocated to the right clients. • Doing timesheets for the cranes on site. • Meeting with the clients for a daily meeting on scheduling the cranes for the following day. • Coordinating the mechanics on site and advising them on breakdowns to reduce standing time. • Sorting out operators PPE for the Shutdown. • Doing Job Observations for the cranes working on site.

Great challenge
Very busy every day to send out the correct cranes and riggers. Invoicing and creditors invoices on a weekly basis takes up a lot of time, especially to do it correctly. Worked with various co-workers from various ethnic groups. Co-Workers are very fond of me. I have learnt to finish all tasks daily and never leave tasks over for the next day. I enjoy planning and to see a happy client at the end of the day. The challenge is to achieve budget at the end of the month and to understand various ethnic groups and their behaviour in the workplace.

I have grown career wise.
I have started at Johnson Crane Hire as a general worker and because I had ambitions in life I worked my way up to the current position in a space of 1 year 6months. I try to learn different things when I do not have a lot of work to expand my knowledge and to add on my skills. I am a very outspoken person which makes it much easier to communicate with my colleagues , clients and our suppliers.
