I am writing this motivational letter to express

I worked at Joburg Market as Mechanical engineer intern technician as part of my in-service training. I worked as a technician to run an ammonia plant that supply cold 54 cold rooms and chila plant that supply 50 banana repining at Joburg Market. Duties and roles • I use to reset and monitor the plant • Daily ammonia check list • Check oil pressure, oil levels , check high and low pressure in the compressor • Check compressor mileages • Ammonia pumps • Receiver vessel and solenoid valve station and cooling towers • I use to install light and motors in cold rooms

Building my career

A team player, self motivated and a hard worker. Results driven. I like to help others. Disciplined and highly principled. What I enjoy the most is when we achieve value for money in everything we buy and producing reports on time. I work with tenders from speciation to cont4axt award. I do administration of the three bid committees, prepare venue for meetings, issue agenda and take minutes in all yhe committees. I have learnt to work with different people ftom different backgrounds through bid committees.

Pros: Working for a metropolitan municipality such as city if joburg. Because we are an entity of CoJ. Opportunity to advance my careeer through studying

To assume a more strategic leadership role.

I have been involved in strategic procurement activities, whilst at the same time providing leadership. I have also acted as head of procurement on various occassions, and thus l am ready at this stage to take responsibility for the procurement division. An updated c.v. can be send upon request.

Excellent learning curve

It is great learning and working with different people outside of my profession. I learned to think out of the box, stakeholder management, interact with different departments and also relation management. The most challenging factor has been approval of projects to go ahead and interrelationships with different departments. The best times had to be learning and getting along with different people.
