I am a consultant Project Manager based on site to implement a project management office with proven project management governance standards for the organisation to follow. I enjoy working with people within all levels of the organisation. I have learnt to be more patient and tolerant to people with different learning capabilities and backgrounds. I enjoy watching my efforts turn into a successful working culture for the organisation and its people. My most challenging aspects of this two years was the cultural change management efforts to change the culture of the organisation from a traditional " buy and install" without the proper planning to following a structured project management approach with governance procedures and proven tools and techniques.

Pros: Very rewarding to see my efforts in the transformational change in the organisation and its people
Cons: Not much opportunity to develop myself academically

Good Learning Curve

Started with the company , I work 8-9 hour a day sometimes extra hours to learn new technologies and improve on my performance. Working on multi discipline projects require more time as well. I have good relationship with my co- workers with their experience I am learning a lot from them. My career started with the company so I have gained lot of experience in projects especially small projects. Everything about my nob the day to day challenges, the people and the environment. Having to execute more than one projects in a month and managing contractors as to meet the scheduled date.

Pros: Great place for growth
Cons: long hours
