Very Challenging but Perfectly Suited

While working for ISA, I was employed as Office manager handling reconciliations, training staff, handling wages and payroll, placing orders, assisting with production planning and the list goes on. I was an all-rounder and dealt with all processing and saw to the day to day running of the company. Employees and I were very close, they were able to vent where needed and carry on with their duties knowing i would handle the HR side on their behalf in a very diplomatic and correct manner. This avoided a lot of confrontation. Dealing with various aspects from employees to suppliers to customers and seeing how they all fit in with regard to the bigger picture really helped me gain a better insight into what is required when making a company successful. Unfortunately while on maternity leave the company closed their doors but all in all it was a wonderful experience.

Pros: Various aspects and roles filled
Cons: Working at home till 2am at the last minute due to other staff not completing their tasks.
