Challenging enviroment

The work day will start typically by analysing market indicators. Based on these findings, i will then make adjustments to existing stored product in various international locations. Daily interaction with co-workers will include Sales Representatives, accounts, Logistic manager, PRO and marketing. Also liaise with international refineries in the Middle East, USA and Europe and major international clients, clearing companies, banks and forex departments to facilitate either the receiving or disbursement of international payments. What I enjoyed most of the job was the international flavour of it and travelling. The challenges are a highly capital intensive product with relatively small margins,so if gearing is not right losses can me made in a trade. Medium sized companies like iPetro, with the consistent low commodity pricing, have marginalised against the majors.

Pros: International business, travelling and good remuneration.
Cons: 24 Hour exposure in challenging and risky market, low commodity pricing and theft.
