In depth exposure to Statistical Analysis in a Big Data environment

The work environment is fairly relaxed and homely, I get along well with all the individuals. Intermittently, ad-hoc high priority task's do come through which do require a late night or two at the office or delivery under tight time lines. A regular day , you will probably spot me with my head-phones on churning away. During times when workload is quite, I often find myself reading further to broaden my analytical abilities.

Pros: Flexible working hours,
Cons: Only Analyst, not much room for growth

Fantastic platform to learn from ins such a big environment

Daily routine of assigning tasks to the department, buying of stock and asset management as well as assisting staff with technical difficulties. When something breaks, we fix it. Servicing of the clients is a high point of the day, being able to help them gives great internal pleasure. Great environment to learn how to work together as a team, yet be independent. What makes this challenging is when something new goes wrong, we all jump in and shares ideas on how to solve / fix the issues. When the stresses are running high, we come together as a team, yet when we have our differences we discuss it and move on.

Pros: Potential to become system admin
Cons: Alternating weekends between technical to be on standby

Great exposure to different technology, people, attitudes etc

I love my profession. I enjoy what i do, however i am keen to know a non call center environment as this is the only type of platform i have been exposed to. i have a great working relations with both comrades and client. I have learn't to understand the people i work with and their approach to various aspects such as change within the environment or projects on hand, more so i have gained insight as to handling stress or myself when being pressurized with tasks.

Pros: i am able to lead projects with my superiors having confidence in me
Cons: contsant micro managing my teams, skills & qualifications are overlooked, long hours, lack of communication between departments which leads to uncertainty
