Excellent learning curve with great opportunities

I’m a hard working young lady, passionate about design: typography and photography, that why I decide to Study Visual Communication. I’m an outgoing, fun, self motivated, confident and ambitious young lady. I matriculated in 2007 at the National School of the Arts. I completed my national Diploma in 2010 at AAA school of Advertising, in Visual Communication specialising in Graphic design. I did my internship at Y&R in 2010-2011 and at HKLM 2011 as a graphic designer. I’m currently working at The New Age newspaper as a layout designer. It has always been my dream job to join a magazine as a designer. I’m confident and skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. I can take a project from start to finish (with great conceptualisation, layout and art-working skills) and meet deadlines and I can work well under pressure. I’m a valid candidate for the position and eager to put my design skills, knowledge and experience to practice.

Pros: Great company
Cons: No proper working system so

I am looking for an opportunity to expand my current skill set as well as grow within the HR field.

I have worked with in the HR field for more than five years on a full-time basis, this has given me the practical experience of building interpersonal relationships, working discretely and communicating with employees on all levels. Working in HR has also taught me to think analytically, logically and the ability to be objective. I enjoy working in HR as it sees all employees as customers, therefore, always aiming to provide a satisfying service.

Pros: Exposure to the media and communications industry
Cons: Long distance to travel

This company is a good learning curve

A Typical day at work for me would be to check my calendar for the meetings i have scheduled for the day. Ensure that everyone is available to host the meetings planned. I Because of my personality i would like to think that i get on well with my co-workers.I learnt a lot about how the revolution of the company from a printing company to a digital company and how it has has evolved over the years. The things i enjoy more is most about the company is the open door policy. I would like to think that the most challenging part of my job is ensuring that the minutes and administration that i do are accurately portrayed.

Pros: That the company keeps you updated with whats happening in the business e.g Roadshows
Cons: There is a limit on growth.

I really want to thank you for acknowledging my work on the and moving me from one department to the other, shows the they really put a lot of trust in me to lead that initiative, and it gave me a chance to flex my skills. I’m glad it had a positive outcome, and I’m particularly pleased that they saw the value in the work as well. I have learnt a lot and appreciate everything they have done for me.
