A day at Improchem

the atmosphere is wonderful and exciting. I start my day off by going through all my emails and prioritizing the important emails. I then attend to all my queries from the previous day and then process all my invoices for the day. We have discussions on how to continuously improve our work standards and also look at different avenues that would make working in creditors simpler and more efficient. I have learn t that creditors plays a vital role in any organization because once payment is done timeously, this gives the company a good credit scoring which assist in obtaining new credit. This also gives a good reflection regarding the cash flow of the company. The most challenging aspect of my job is not obtaining invoices and statements on time and whereby you have to continuously email suppliers for documentation.

Positive challenge

A typical day at work is unpredictable as everything is depended on the other party from orders being manufactured on time to the order being delivered on time. i always have to think on my feet and not wait for my manager to advise unless i am really stuck because if there are any delays it becomes a delays the supply chain and unnecessary cost will be incurred. My relationship with my co-workers is awesome i love people and always want to know what is happening around me. After all i spend most of my time at work than at home. I make everyday count. I have learnt how to deal with different customers and have sharpened my listening skills. i have learnt to be very patient as i sometimes have difficult customers and have managed to solve almost impossible situations. i enjoy most the fast passed environment and the daily challenge of solving problems.

Pros: Reputable company to have on your CV.
Cons: working long hours sometimes and no room for mistakes as they can be costly

I HAVE SEVEN YEARS EXPERINCE IN WATER TREATMENT INDUSTRY. I CURRENTLY WORKING FOR IMPROCHEM PTY LTD AS A WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR AT MOGALAKWENA PLATINUM MINE(ANGLO AMERICAN) IN MOKOPANE. I ALSO WORKED FOR PWM(PROFFESIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT) AT XTRATA ALLOYS SMELTER AT BOSHOEK. I HAVE SIX YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE IN COOLING TOWER SYSTEM, RO(REVERSE OSMOSIS) PLANT AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT.
