Career growth

Qualified with strategic logistic management from Damelin in 2010 and am currently studying towards Diploma in logistics and supply chain management. Skilled in MS Office Suite, proficient in SAP systems , thorough knowledge of safety standards and compliance ,thorough knowledge of quality standards and systems , knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies, in-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation and human resources

Listen to customer, explain what company do and how in a manner that the customer sees innovativity

We work as a team of drivers and controllers to make sure we keep clients smilling everyday, we are pro active as we could predict what will be the client's need from our division, we go extra miles to always resolve differences that might arise amongst us as a team so that we can always be the happy team and a happy team is a productive team,. Reaching the client target is normal with us and we enjoy meeting the client and our company expactetion from us, weather is always a challenging aspect as driving skill will be needed at that time so we can keep incident free working environment

Cons: Work after hours and sometimes weekends and holidays

Good Salary for entry level

I loved what I did, but because of being a truck assistant I had to casually get reminded by the driver about my position. But other then that I did the job just to pay for my studies.

A typical work day

So much to do - so little time . The day starts with planning and the daily objectives to meet in relation with the overall company strategy with alignment to the mother company's vision. This dictates and necessitates interaction with other departments and employees especially the revenue generating and the technical departments.

Pros: Great challenges takes you out of your comfort zone.
Cons: Limited career path

Excellent learning curve

A typical work day starts at 6 for me and will end when I'm done with my work. I tend to do more than is expected of me. I help my co-workers where i can assist. I have learnt a lot about warehousing and good communication. I love everything about my job, but mostly the finance side.

Pros: Learning new things everyday
Cons: Working overtime without receiving overtime

Excellent learning curve

Been by the company for 7 years and it's been only a great pleasure to work with awesome pioneers in the Logistics transport industry and to have learnt from the best I believe. I am looking a new career change or challenge as I have gained a lot of experience and would like to seek out the next new career adventure.

Excellent learning curve

I like working with my fellow employees they are very friendly and joyful. working hours is from 8 to 16:30 not to long but on fridays its to long. I have been doing the following mango upoads , PDP's. Scanning of documents. Capuring NBC leave for the drivers at the company. Administration and filling duties. Timecards: Capturing the hours of the drivers.

Pros: nice working hours
Cons: loads of work and stress
