Best to practice working under pressure

Irregular working hours Good to juggle culture diversity and respect to co workers such enforce best team spirit Learned to be accurate,work under pressure and writing reports according to progress achieved Enjoy reaching and achieving project within time without injuries Challenging part is learning culture of working,working with inexperienced individuals and keeping eye on them always as a team of more than forty people doing different tasks

I am an experienced Mechanical Fitter

I am an experienced Mechanical Fitter it R717 gass licence, I am invoved in all the fitting jobs and a little of machining since I started to work for Howden. I always hear my co-workers saying that I am a hard working man but it terms of treatment I think for me to be promoted its gonna be highly impossible.

Pros: •Technical proficiency in fitter and turner works, NH3 Gas License(CAT: B) • Mechanically/technically minded; Lifting techniques; Hydraulics; Measuring equipment; Power/Hand tools; & Mechanical Repairs • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing. • Experienced in working with power and hand tools. • Well organized and understanding of safety regulations • Excellent skill at reading and interpreting schematics and sketches. • Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting ability. • Safety orientated and sound knowledge of Safety Systems and Standards. • Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes for extended periods of time • Ability to multi-task and work as a team . Problem solving, decision making and analytical skill •My ability to speak, write and present myself fluently and immaculately has enabled me to have good interpersonal relations with different people•
Cons: Remove and install the bearings  Fault finding in the plant  Replacing the coalescing filter in oil tank separator  Replace oil filters  Replace and top up oil in the refrigeration plant  Align the compressor with the motor using Laser alignment  Back wash the heat exchangers and record the pressure before and after the back was  Check vibration level in all the rotating parts  Maintain the compressor  Maintain the oil pump  Using a Lathe and Milling Machine  Balancing and Analysing of vibration in the plant 

Good skills learning opportunities

As per work schedule as requested by Eskom or client,eg stropping or fitting a white mental bearings. My relationship with my co workers is very good as I make friends in deferent sites. I have learnt to take instructions from my supervisors as per work schedule. I enjoyed working with deferent people on deferent sites. The work frame is always on a specific time so the work must be done on time.

Proper skill development

I am a mechanical fitter who has patience, and dedication to the job, I respect and listen to management and my seniors in the workshop, safety comes first all the time because I don't want to end up getting involved in serious injuries causing the company to lose money, I have learned alot about fitting and can actually tackle stuff like couplings, bearings, tool making, and etcetera, I enjoy every bit of my job since I'm qualified in it, although work is stressful sometimes, I can handle pressure properly and still act professional.

Pros: Working and helping the company to grow
Cons: Working without being supervised and still get the job done on tine

Excellent learning curve

I was training as a safety officer at Nosa...tooked by Howden in 2014...2016 july tooked by tubular construction company as an apprenticeship welder...therefore worked at esco engineering in Middelburg...now doing pipe fitter at Mitsubishi Hitachi power systems Africa....i can weld most of the processes....smaw.tig.mig.i was welding dragline bucket at esco

I was an apprentice i qualified recently

I have a vast knowledge on Welding tig, mig, fcaw and smaw. I have been coded on fcaw, mig, and smaw. I adapt and learn very quickly. I'm very good in time management, new challenges exites me.

Pros: I love what i do but i don't love the company. I'm very grateful to the company for the opoturnity they gave me to learn my trade. But i think it is time to move on to see what the outside world hold for me.
Cons: I can do everything.

Ihave experience to work,firewatch is to minimuize the injury of fire and be for using fire extingsure you have to incepect contain expairy date.be for you going to the site with your team sign apermit book to work.ensure to make toolbox talk with your safty .rules of company first thing you have to know

Pros: I'mhard worker,good communication....i like to work as ateam and the pay day is pay day no story evry thing is good, respect is quality..we respect the our management and our supervisor

Fitter and turner artisan

i do assembling on a variety of industrial fans and i do machining on different shafts sizes, impellers and couplings and i work on different lengths of center lanthe, vertical boring mill, key way cutting machine, drilling machines and surface grinder, i also assemble refrigeration compressors, install them and commissioning the plant, i work with different kind of people they're all good to me actual we have a spirit of a great team work, and i have learnt that to be a team leader does not mean that you have to be a boss and undermine other people's ideas

Pros: promotions are very scarcy
Cons: overtime
