The life of an instore product manager

I am a product manager for a retail fashion brand. My typical activities and day at work would start with a short staff meeting to give a report on where we are in terms of sales for the day and what sold most and reasons why we think some did well and others not, informing staff of promotions and daily plans. there after we open shop and ready for business, I basically go around the floor putting in action ideas to up sales, like changing mannequins to see which product to prioritize. request more of best sellers if more demand and or hope it would sell more and request new product. come up with promotional ideas for the weekend, prepare feed back.

Pros: you learn a lot about the retail business and how customers think, and
Cons: you spend 90% of your life in a retail store, you better be sure you have a goal or else you remain at the same level

I task staff and make sure each of them are doing their part. I would say dealing with different individuals is a bit challenging and yet grooming and you learn a lot about different people from different backgrounds.

Cons: you spend 90% of your life in a retail store, you better be sure you have a goal or else you remain at the same level

Excellent communication with customers

I recently obtain a certificate in Credit controller and Assistant bookkeeper at Boston College. My main field of study are Financial Management, Financial Accounting etc. My interest is to analyze compliance with policies, procedures and also evaluate established controls and appraise the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization operations. In addition, to identify, evaluate and handle risk, to prepare financial statement and prepare detailed reports. I have developed good communication skills and i am confident that i would be best utilized within the day to day business operations of the organization. Giving me an opportunity in your organisation would give me an excellent insight into your organisation and be an outstanding opportunity for me to explore different working mothod and practice the knowledge i gained at college. I anticipate your response and hope my application will be considered favourably.

Pros: Great opportunity for career growth
Cons: Long working hours - 8 to 10 hours

I administrat laybys

I am a highly talented, driven individual who has the ability to prove themselves and can deliver innovative solutions. A proven ability to develop projects from inception through to production ensuring that all work is effective, appropriate and delivered within agreed deadlines. Able to work as part of a team. I am a person that loves their family and a hard working woman that is trying to push away the stigma that woman cannot make it in the harsh business world. I am a person that does not shy away from a challenge and willing to tackle problems head on. Over the years I have been in school, I have seen many examples of great leadership. What separates the truly successful from the rest is a higher level of contribution towards the organisation’s most important goal.

Pros: I got to learn a lot
Cons: none

House of Busby's is an okay company

House of Busby is a good company to work for, however they don't trust their staff easily or build relationships with them. I strongly believe that no matter what you pay an employee how you treat them will determine their dedication to the company.

Pros: learnership
Cons: hard to move up
