Always willing to learn and to give knowledge

l have worked for 15yrs in my company, process systems are very good but theres no room for growth for me. Having been upgrading myself interms of studies and my input but my potential is not recognised. So this is the reason lm looking for oppotunities outside, where my input would be valued.

Pros: a very good job security
Cons: No oppotunity for progress

Good learning experience.

Everything on the is fully automated, so if breakdowns occur it will notify the DCS, and an E&I Technician will be called out for the breakdown. Excellent working environment, they constantly build you in the E&I Department where I was stationed. To think fast on my feet I've learnt, Because 1min of the instrument or motor or VSD not working results in millions of rands lost, so the quicker I solve it the better it is for the company. I enjoyed programming the drives the most. The breakdown call outs were most challenging because you don't know what exactly isn't working at every breakdown, the breakdowns are different everytime.

Pros: There's alot of electrical and Instrumentation equipment and therefore the breakdown callouts were interesting
Cons: Overtime worked is given to you as time off
