Good company growth. Very competitive culture.

I would start my day with opening stock and checking up on the current status of deliveries into our warehouse. Daily I would sign off costings, orders and payments to foreign creditors. Every second day I would regroup with staff to check status of divisions of categories. We would together with consultation with category managers query if any campaigns , sales or required deadlines to be observed to ensure stock is available to sell. I have learned here at Home Of Living Brands that the stock is all based on consignment orders and sometimes what is ordered get rejected if late so meeting required deadlines is imperative or we go into an over situation but also cannot be that conservative to be out of stock. Forecasting is required to be checked regularly as the system is vey manual driven and mistakes can creates a skewed perspective of what is to e ordered. Most challenging is keeping the balance of stock on hand but not to much as the stock holding is very ow due to the business model.

Pros: Career growth and because the company business models differs from most companies your opportunity to grow is very high
Cons: Vey stressful and extremely demanding 24/7. This job follows you home and back so if you can afford to give off most of your personal time it is well suited.

Excellent job

Its a good company to work with but the treatment is different I love working with my colleague they are like a family to me Team work and placing orders Challenge is when you don't have support from your manager

Excellent protection building

Working with people is very good it help you learn more,get to know them well n sometimes work get hectic and you see people going up and down wanting this wanting that. Everyone has to make sure that his/her work is well done and checking that everything is up to date.I learn that working with people keeps mind bzy all the tym and it hepls reduce stress you can learn that people are different n like different thing.the most thing I enjoy is filling,packing staff and do catering. The most challenging is when you have to make a speech:writing, drafting and present it,trying to impress your partners.

Home of Living Brands is part of Bidvest Group.

Working for such a largre establishment a person had to learn to work with various type of people. You must be a good listener first and take in consideration what is said. So a lot of patience has been learned. Working with customer has also taught me this.

Pros: Large stable company
Cons: No off weekend

Always work hard to help the company grow

Productivity is priority building relationships with co workers is key to getting the job done I always give more then is expected of me working with different reps has shown me that teamwork is important . They keep me going and also wants the best for our customers. I always try to keep my customers happy, not all customers is easy to work with but I try my best to do so.I enjoy team building and getting to know my colleagues on a more personal level. Month end rush is challenging but it's what I enjoy I always push to beat deadlines cause I thrive on challenges, I get upset with myself if I dont make the target expected from me. Growth is important to me so I would like to grow with the company.

I need a permanent job so that I may be able to take care of my family at work I mix sand the whole day so that my boss may be able to build houses simple I work day and day as long as the is a job I am a hard worker
