Hillcrest Private Hospital Reviews

Excellent managing of stock

My typical day is making sure there are minimal stock issues in the hospital ie out of stocks from suppliers or something that is requested by a doctor is readily availble for use on a procedure. Also to make sure that what is used on patients are actually paid for by medical aids. Not to over bill or under bill the use of stock and to manage the stock losses and gains per unit which includes to using up short dated expiry dated stock. My job is also inline with the company sops daily. And making sure all is running smoothly system wise. Assisting retail patients with knowledge of the use of stock issued to them as requested by the doctor. I enjoy making sure that whatever my challenges are for the day are resolved timeously and when I leave for home at the end of my shift I am mind free of a days work well completed

Pros: Experiences
Cons: I have reached my peak at my current position

Convenient

Not enjoying it anymore. We are only a number now. Become very corporate and not to worries about patient care anymore. No real structure or accountability.

Pros: Close to home and nice hours
Cons: Work expectations are unachievable most times
