I have learned a lot and benefited a lot from this company. The only thing is you can't grow from junior level to be a senior as an African. They do not believe in BEE and they do not have the certificate for that.

Learn about fabrics to detail, and people skills

long working hours , strict management , lack of communications and too much gossip. the pros are that they pay you on time, the co-workers are great to work with, the management treats you every friday with friday lunch, management isnt off balance and you learn alot about fabrics and interacting to people

Quality control and actually order preparations,

Computer literacy , physical strong to carry and inspect products. Accurate measurements and invoicing, accurate allocation of stock to exact storage location and proper stock handling and storage procedure followed.

Pros: Fluency in English, strong physically and mentally, quick Learner , team players. Creative and passionate. Takes ownership
Cons: Self supervision ,can work overtime and under pressure. Goal getter

Lovely growing company

I have been employed at Hertex for 16 years and enjoy my work very much. I would, however, like to grow and learn within a different industry now. I loved the new challenges that came with such a rapidly growing company. My work evolved naturally and I learned so much through my experience there. From implementing new operational procedures, to HR, and the sales evolution, it was always interesting and evolving. Co-workers have become family and our culture is one of support and strong values.

Can't grow in the company

Quality checks Updating the system Fabric rolls and addtiinal products Good people to work with Hours are just fine Time consuming Invoicing Merchandising Claims to the suppliers Between warehouses to check quality..rugs etc Having to waste too much time on inspection and then gets overridden by our buyers

Pros: time goes quick
Cons: no need
