A typical day would start off by doing the end of day cash up and then turn into a day filled woth taking payments, receipting them and answering the switchboard. I have a friendly relationship towards my co-workers. We do have our disagreements but it's usually sorted out within a day. I have learned how to be more organized, always be friendly and how to calm angry customers. I enjoy having an opportunity to learn and to meet intresting people. The most challenging aspect has to be to always be friendly even when someone is taking out their anger on you as well as to not involve myself in any unnecessary talk between workers

Excellent learning skills , neat and organised.

I have an ability to grow with a job, handle responsibilities and pressure and build relationships with work colleagues. I am confident that I can bring performance to a company. I feel certain that my strong communicating skills along with my ability to learn fast will be of immediate value to a company. I very much hope that someone will look favourably upon my application by recognizing my enthusiasm and future potential.

It's an ok starter

The place isn't too bad for getting your foot into the job market. But there is no additional training provided and no option for career growth. As in any other place there is a big diversity among the staff and everyone gets along just fine.

Excellent learning curve

I was working for Hatfield WV as a picker/packer so working for WV thought me so many things like working as a team with my colleagues whereby we assist/ help each other, to respect one another & to work as a team, i also learn how to use a computer & to focus on my work to avoid making too much mistakes cause being a picker it's so challenging so you have to focus in order to do the right job

Customer relation

switchboard operator booking clerk filling eft and cheques customer relation job cards operator working with customer really lift me up because I didn't have experience to work with people since I was fresh from the high school. dealing with different religion help me to respect and understand different backgrounds. I can deal with people and I know very well how to treat customer well and with manner. I dream is to become an HR manager and payroll administrator because I'm doing my HR diploma course and it will be obtain next year 2018.

Learning curve but no promotions

Not a good company to work for, managers look after them self only, there's no Recognition, there's no promotion, since I've been working there I have never gone to any training. We never given a chance for anything.

Excellent

medium bmedium ase company with good opportunities for its employees. a very good company base company .so much leadership qualities and training of employees invested to its staff members.i enjoy the culture and the diversity within the company and have very excellent relationship with my co workers. the most challenging art of my job is the consistancy . i have learnt so much interpersonal and extra personal communication skills with in my years with the company

Working at Hatfield VW

Enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis that come into the dealership. Learnt quite a bit about the different services that can be performed on a car . A typical workday is from 7am-5:30pm which is very long hours. Work well with my colleagues. It can be quite challenging to work with the technicians as they are very rude and obnoxious.

Pros: Staff discount on parts
Cons: No promotional opportunity and very long hours
