I'm a fast learner who believe to herself ,I'm that kind of person who easy to aprotch, who is kindly and have smily face.I do respect people inside and outside the company. I do Accept the corrections whenever I'm wrong .things I've learnt in previous job is that if u wan'to be successful in in life you need to be pertiant and do your job properly and depend to your self .I enjoy working with defferent kind of people so that I will learn more new thing to them.

Excellent learning curve

Here at Harambee a candidate can come down stairs lie that I called them to come for assessment, then I have to do a short investigation then get to the bottom of the matter, but at the end I see that the candidate are so desperate they create stories, then I just come down and don't take it hard. Me around my colleagues i appear as a strict person but I am always hands on, assisting its one of the thing I love doing anywhere even in a taxi. Making people laugh its also something I am good at. I have learnt that people are different but are capable to just put their difference aside and be able to be one, nothing its more important than communication. Having fun at work and making my work fun that 's what I enjoy. The most challenging aspect answering different quires for different departments and from that I came to learn a lot which I didn't know or was not aware off.

Excellent learning opportunity with countless like-minded people.

A typical day at Harambee is that me and my colleagues( referring to the team of three) is that we sign in phase 1, 2 and 3 on the ground floor and inform them on where Harambee offices are i.e 6th floor. If the candidates come for phase 3, we usually coordinate the movement of the candidates for speech tests and hearing and interviews. We either make calls to candidates informing them about opportunities or remind them if they were invited for a briefing prior to the date they must come and tell them what to bring, that is, relevant documentation. We do quality check in terms of checking if the documentation they brought is correct and accurate. We help other staff members with whatever they may need, we help the candidate with applying and even find channels for candidates for other ways to help them on a personal level.

Pros: Great opportunity to make job opportunities for the with without experience to work in grat and established companies.
Cons: Since we are interim staff, the salary in not as satisfactory as we would like it to be, but they are considering an increase for us.

My work is about changing peoples lives.

My job title is to change peoples lives at Harambee by offering work readiness programmes such as interview tips and also how to dress. We are a non profit organisation that assist the of South Africa to get them more employable. My relationship with my co workers is amazing since we work as a team so having that chance to hear the candidate saying thank you for making their day is a very touching moment and in some instances it can become very emotional. I have learnt to succeed together with my team and also to appreciate every moment and the job that i have. I enjoy seeing my co workers happy and smiling as it brings a fresh environment in the work environment. The most challenging aspects of the job is to reach the target but also its a bit good because it brings out the best in you when you get to compete with your co workers.

Pros: Great opportunity for other companies to take you.

Good communicator

I was working with target that needed per day,which was 32 people needed perday that I will capture on a system only people that meet the harambee cateria. I had a good relationship with my colleagues it was nice to work with them because we were working as a team.i learn to communicate well in the working environment with others people.i had enjoy when we working on a competition.the most challenge it was recruiting people in the community and working sometimes didn't get paid .

Career growth

I'm a 25 year old Public Management graduate, majored in public Human Resource, public policy and management of information. I have a code 10 driving license; I'm a very reliable, competent and keen individual. I did my internship at the department of education under performance management, I'm currently working at Harambee under the sourcing team . Filling of documents, capturing information into the system, making presentations, helping candidates fill out the forms. I enjoy my job a lot because I love assisting people
