Working as Safety Officer

Working as a safety officer is a great job, I really like working with people and helping them when they need help and also working with you employee is the best. when everyone is working together and we also understand eac other everything works out great. Working with competent supervisor make safety come first to all the employees. they understand the importance of compiling a risk assessment and following the safe work procedure. I learnt a lot from all the projects i have worked in. The work we did d was a high risk, the was a lot of working at hieghts and confine space. We did have incidences doing the case of the projects and we learnt a lot from them, we put control measures to prevent them from happening again. .

Pros: They give you the space to grow, to learn more
Cons: You do not get a thank you for the hard work you put in.

CONTRACT WORK FOR OUTAGE

At my previous company my typical work day started before 7 in the morning. I love working with people and had a good working relationship with my co-workers. I was challenging in certain aspects, as there is a time limit to any project and the stress is high. But I have learnt how to deal with deadlines and how to manage different people. I enjoyed learning new things and working with people the most. The most challenging aspects of my job was the hours we worked, as it was on a shut down, some of the shifts were almost 12 hours. As well as working with people that might be more difficult and have different views. I have learnt a lot from this and feel that I have grown as a person.

Pros: Good renumeration
Cons: Contract work
