I have learnt to work under pressure

I have learnt a a lot at Gyproc, I was able to work with different people and sound different jobs People were friendly and were able to assist mwwherw it's necessary. The management was fair to everyone oneand they were very professional. The plant was very strict on safety and they made sure that everyone follow safety and there zero injuries. The maintenance team made sure that they avoid unnecessary breakdown s so there were few breakdowns and the plant most of the time was running smoothly.

Fast learner . taking safety a productive plant serious

yield and plant availability was increased on the plant from 80 % to 96 % on a monthly basis. Enforcing good house keeping safety and productivity on the line. Played a big roll in launching a new product on the your market due to a opening in the gap of our market. Training and couching of staff and monitoring authorizing of over time as needed.

Good learning opportunity, but unrealistic workload

Excellent culture and interpersonal relationships. Lean structure does mean that extra work hours are a regular requirement with little support in the form of additional resources. Performance expectations are not aligned to the capabilities of the organisational structure, with the result that performance improvements are not recognised. Accelerated learning curve due to the broad range of responsibilities is certainly a good way to build a strong foundation for a career in the manufacturing industry.

Cons: Extra hours a regular requirement due to insufficient resources
