Learned a lot but there was no promotion opportunities

-productive work days -excellent communication relationship with co-workers -what my position required and a little from each co-worker (it, electrician, safety and supply management stock control) -learning new things and succeeding in tasks -when I had to stand in for a co-workers post of which I had no knowledge in their position

A typical day in my job life

Every day provide new challenges. I have a good relationship with my fellow workers as well as with subordinates. I have gained very good experience in the renewable industry during the past 5 years, specifically on Solar PV technology. I enjoy the daily tasks in terms of analysis of plant performance and technical issues to be addressed. The most challenging aspects of my current job is to deal with my superior who continuously needs my support and wants to check almost every aspect of his tasks with me. It feels as if I manage my subordinates as well as my superior.

Pros: Gaining more and more experience in the Solar PV industry
Cons: I work extremely long hours
