Guardrisk Culture

Guardrisk is a good company to work for. Any employee can fit into the company culture easily. We have management that engages with their employees on a quarterly basis. This gives you the platform to raise and concerns or issues you have in the company or your own personal growth. I get along with co-workers. They have recognized me for my great attitude and always willing to assist even if I am busy. I enjoy the food the most :)

A great starter

I have been working at Guardrisk for over 3 years as an Accounts Assistant. Previously, I worked at Alexander Forbes as an administrator. I had just qualified for Bachelors Degree from Wits. Guardrisk has offered me an opportunity to at least gain some knowledge in a finance department. I enjoy what I do-numbers although I feel like I can more. It’s challenging because you are some what limited to do other tasks. I have a great working relationship with co-workers and clients. I am able to prioritize and work efficiently in a day to day basis. I’m currently study for my postgraduate diploma in Financial Accounting. Guardrisk has offered me a bursary to do so and I appreciate that they care about my personal development.

Growth

Looking for a different exposure to my field and expanding my knowledge. Growing into other new skills and opportunities. I have great relationships throughout my company and open to learning. Communication is important as well as attention to details. Looking for better ways to be productive and adding value to a team.

Pros: Love what i do
Cons: Travel time longer
