Hard worker

Currently I’m working for Group Five Civil Engineering as a Quality Assurance officer basically implementing the quality management system according to ISO 9001. Maintaining and compiling method statements and Quality control plans.Assisting and fascilitating the to appropriate implement, administer and maintain quality policies and practices. Also doing internal site audits and compiling QA monthly reports. Monitoring and doing concrete inspection on our structural units. Controlling and assessing laboratory to achieve the quality standards. Also verifying the laboratory statical analysis if its according to COLTO and TMH method where applicable. My previous employer was WBHO Construction where I was working as a Site Engineer at Greenpoint Stadium 2010. I was doing the general survey like levelling and managing sub contractors and labourers.Hiring of plants and organizing of material.Pre inspections and post inspections

Fast learner, willing to relocate

Report directly to workshop manager, oversee over 6800 running wheels truck & earthmoving, oversee sites South Africa & Africa, scrap analysis, conduct surveys, control of casings, visit all sites, safety procedure, stock control, liase with suppliers, purchase of all tyres.

Good working environment

I've learned a lot and equipped myself with knowledge and gathered solid experience as I've been part of various construction projects. I was part of construction of two Gas fired power stations two Wind power generation farms and one Solar power stations. I've been travelling around South Africa and worked in Mozambique.

Good Experience in Power Station Design

I am a Certified Energy Manger (International) Currently I am a Snr Electrical Engineer responsible to Design and Develop the EC&I portion of an 360MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Ghana. I have also been the Snr Engineer responsible to deliver 1x 80MVA Solar Plant (Jasper) and 1x80MVA Wind Generation plant (Knobels fontein) I have Consulting Engineering Experience (Hatch) I have 7 years experience leading the EC&I Design team that designed and delivered 12 x Furnaces across the world ( 66MVA Each) I was the Snr Electrical Engineer for an MCC manufacturing company - Responsible for 2 x Water Treatment plants - SANS 60439 certification and new MCC design. Challenges

Construction improves many peoples lives. I do not only learn the engineering aspect of what I build but also the processes involved, for example, building a water treatment plant, you learn what process the water goes through before you can drink it, which we take for granted. My job has taught me how important it is to focus on smaller detail and to be able to always have a plan b. Managing a big group of people, with different personalities, different cultures is very challenging. being able to keep them motivated to always do their best is challenging, but my work has allowed me to learn how to deal with it. Get to know your team and identify which leadership quality brings out the best of him.

Good exposure to Oil and Gas industry

I am experiencing being the oil and gas construction site which is confirming that the safety in the work place is guided by the OHS Act 85 of 1993 mostly the construction regulations
