Good to work for Group five

Group five is a good company to work for and I am proud to be part of the team but construction industry as a whole is not doing well. I have learnt a lot in terms of work as a clerk and communicating with different level of co workers.

It is a great opportunity to work for Group Five

1. Contract knowledge is critical in construction in order to safeguard the company's financial exposure. 2. Project management is the pillar strength of everything we do in construction 3. A good relationship with co workers is vital for the achievement of project goals

Pros: Good support and working relationship with top management
Cons: Unfortunately you will define your own working hours as a result of the pressure at hand. This normally results in long working hours.

What

I have been working for this company for 11 year and 10 month. I'm trying to understand whether that pay me enough or not. Because when I check same years of experience without qualification that pay more than I'm earning .

Manager of Cost Clerks, Cost Administrators and Jnr Qs's;  Measuring building works (finals, actuals and valuation measures);  valuations (CCS Software);  Final Accounts;  Contractual letters;  Cost report trend sheets;  Payments;  Setting up L/only, Selected, Nominated and domestic contracts;  Training more Junior staff, compiling of the cost reports (CMS Software & CCRS);  Adjudication of packages;  Cost engineering and better buying;  Loading suppliers and subcontractors;  Variation Orders (quantify and price), etc.
