Excellent learning curve

I feel that I need to do more financial work like reconciliation of the payroll. The payroll is nice because I get to work with the employees but, I need to think sometimes not just data capture. I want to do recons and make sure that the payroll adds up in the end, not just capture and then hand these things over to an account to do the rest. My most challenging aspect at Granor is getting the clocking machine up and running properly, this is not being used to it full capacity and I think the company is loosing a lot of money because of it. What I enjoy the most is greeting everyone in the morning. People don't have the time for each other anymore and that is sad, people commit suicide and their workers didn't even know there's a problem because they don't correspond or just greet. I haven't learned anything different than what I already know. Except that yes Companies have very different cultures, and I am not saying black and white, I am saying the companies themselves, they way they run things.

Pros: We get a bottle of free juice. hehehe
Cons: Feels like I am a data capturer, I need something more challanging.

Learning curve

As you will see from the attached resume, I’ve built my career in a variety of roles and industries, mostly in small companies where I was not just the admin but also transport and storage and Logistics, public relations, Accounting and marketing guru. I’m not only used to wearing many hats, I sincerely enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where no two work days are the same.

Excellent learning curve

I learned most things about food production. The company gives us a chance to interact with other employees and. We work from 7am in the morning and have tea break and lunch break until we knock of at least :30. During season time when there is too much citrus we work overtime hours. Ies me opportunity to aquire skills to work in other companies

Excellent work environment

Great working environment with work/life balance. Management listens to ideas and always strive for continuous improvement.The staff is very friendly and subordinates carry instructions very well.

Management doesnt recognise subordinates.

the relationship between employer and employee is strictly that. you feel like a tool used to fix something but really not valued. made to work extra hours to cover work because of staff shortage and no overtime payment.

Pros: free juice every month
Cons: long working hours, no opportunity for growth

Growth and development

My work entails preparing shipping documents, filling, signing off invoices, checking and analysing of B/L. Receiving contracts from clients and making bookings In accordance to clients requirement. This job i complete with the assistance of my co workers, as we beleive working as a team brings forth good results. I mostly enjoy communications with client.

Pros: Room for other opportunities
Cons: slow days
