This was my first work experience after studying after earning my Post graduate degree in Industrial Psychology, it was a good opertunity and allowed me to gain a great deal of wisdom and knowledge about the company as well as my levels of tolerance and the boundaries i can push myself too. As part of a daily task i am expected to work hand in hand with clients eg Distributional center Managers, i manager the staffing requirements for this DC the recruitment, the training for unskilled, semi skilled and skilled positions (placement), the HR related matter for the employees, the monthly payroll, i also do a monthly presentation to the client where they get to tell me my shortfalls and rate my staff and myself. i enjoy working with people it has become something i have enjoyed doing, the most challenging would be the communication barriers as some of the work is unskilled labour.

Leadership skills and great detail to work and accuracy in work
it has been a great experience working with so many individuals who are all different they have taught me so much in such a short space of time from the execution of work projects to how to encrporate them in to that project. i have built a trust relationship with my colleagues that makes working conditions very easy because of the support we have. I enjoy and thrive with projects that have deadlines because they push me to work extra hard to meet that deadline. The most challenging aspects of the job is when other people do not meet their deadlines or they promise to deliver and they never do on time and my Seniors want that task urgently and you have to make compromises and make alternatives of getting the task on time.
Pros: You are exposed to so many things and work
Cons: You get to be on call whenever

Excellent
I'm working as issuing clerk ,the work is not much challenging but need lot of attention ,the relationship with other co-workers is great, i have learnt a lot from my current employer.

Yes, I learned a lot from them but.
I've been working with them for 5years but sometimes it's hard to work with people who doesn't know how to appreciate. We were good for them in terms of services and we were making sure that our client is certified all time by pushing the production on time. We were working night shift and they make sure that transport is always available. Dispatching is always hard if you don't work with other people.
Pros: No development
Cons: We do work extra hours but sometimes they don't pay us.

Excellent exposure
I am more deadline driven since I started working for the company. I have learnt to be great at multi tasking. I enjoy being a part of finance team that keeps the company standing.

I learned a lot from the past years with the company almost every thing I know about business field.
Working at GP Retail Operations gave me an amazing experience in admin, management, data analysis. etc. I made a good relationship to each and new member or staff off the company that joins the company. Working at GP Retail Operations is challenging and time consuming it need an extra dedication in order to survive and succeed and I think I mastered that aspect.
Pros: I sealed the deal with Dischem for the company which was first time GP Retail Operations supply service for Dischem in KZN

Excellent learner
-it's always challenging to work at Gp Retail new obstacles that needs an open minded person -I love my fellow colleagues it's always fun to work with them but I enjoy it more when there is a challenging moments at work cause we always tackle everything together -I have learned that working with people needs patience but working with clients needs dedication and commitment

Developed learning skills
It was such a dynamic working environment where by I was given a chance to practice what I've learnt from school it was a great opportunity , I worked well with my managers and colleagues yet the graduate program came to an end and it was a time to go, I knew I had to be at my best at every tasks assigned to me for instance resolving past disputes and I did very well, not working with systems as I was hoping I had be processing information directly but i came to understand the factor as everything was sent from site to head office yet I was on site

Gaining experience
At GP retail operations I learned quite alot I have to check my workers daily if they are wearing personal protective equipment. I listen to them when they have a problem and I find ways to solve problems in my work area. I have to make sure that we meet the clients minimum requirements they expected from us as a contractor aswell I have to pass our monthly scorecard to ensure that we don't lose the contract I have learnt how to enforce disciplinary action in my work place and how to communicate with the store manager aswell as the ops manager at Woolies Vincent and hemingways and I have learnt alot how to deal with any problem in my working environment as a leader I should listen to my workers and on the same time I should motivate them and encourage them because they the people who made me who I am. I give daily instructions to the supervisor what task to do

Cons: Maximum 68 hours per week
