I need growth and better salary
I am doing quality assurance and send cases to relevant sections, sending letters to Masters for minors and send proof of payments to external fund for members who have transferred their funds. Attending to enquiries and have strong relationship with my co-workers as I have to return documents back to individuals who made errors. I have learnt the ability to work with different people as I worked in different sections, time management, communication, self management, business ethics, customer focus, professionalism, proactivity, working under pressure, ability to prioritize and problem solving. What enjoy about my work is that I am making a difference in the life of people and if people are paid on time,I am happy. The most challenging aspect of my job is working with people who does not make the life of our clients easier.
Pros: We are given the opportunity to go to training and also to improve my studies

Learn as we do the job
A typical work day for me is that I make sure that I organise my cases to pay and make sure that I remove urgent cases before anything. The challenges I’m having is I always have to learn about the laws of different cases. My job is to check and see that the member's period is recorded and loaded on the system before I pay the member. What I love about my job is that each and every case has its own. I have learnt that work and rules and the language of every Company is never the same. I have learned that the jobs and the service are different. I enjoy helping my clients so much. I love to make clients happy, they worked hard for their money so why not pay them on time when they retire and resign? The most challenging at my job is when the system is not working, because we sit and do nothing it's always tiring. When people comes to the office to enquire about their money and at that time we can't help because their forms have delayed somewhere.
Pros: No, growth... That's the reason I really want to leave
Cons: I work my 8 hours, Unless the work is too much if so we work overtime (paid)

Lack of growth
It is a large organisation where i get to learn a lot and gain experience but there is lack of grown. the company culture is great as there is an open door policy and management are willing to listen to ideas from low level employees. there is a good working relationship with co-workers

Excellent learning curve
In my 6 years working experience in the Public Service I have had an amazing experience of meeting 99% of my responsibility and assist my co-workers as well. Finance environment is great because what I do immediately touches someone sensitive side from my daily calculation, reimbursements, salary adjustments, disallowances, bonuses to aligning with correct taxation of the employee. Almost everything I do is benefited by the way I interact with my team to the rest of the Organisation. My non-stop learning gives me joy to be better and proficient.

Great knowledge
the company that i am working for is a very nice one, their employees are friendly. on a typical day i work with different employers and employees, i always ,make sure that i solve all my queries, what i most enjoy is to see a case get paid at the end of the day, seeing family members being able to pay their debts with the pension payout. i love my job so much because it challenges me everyday, and the fact that i can make a difference in someones life everyday, pleases me. i feel that i have overstayed where i am , and need a change and a new environment to further excel on my knowledge and to learn more.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Check the Manager's diary immediately when I get to the office. Remind him of his meetings and ensure that his documents are professionally prepared and ready for use. Make travel arrangements, arrange functions and events. Have a great interrelationship with colleagues including the 5 Senior Managers. GPAA has taught me integrity, courtesy, compassion, undependable, decision making, Enjoyed working with a winning team. Challenge was not being able to help a client due delays on the third party
