A very good learning experience
I work with government of Lesotho, my job covers animal health and animal production, we do surveillance for diseases like FMD ,Anthrax and Black quarter, whereby Anthrax and Blackleg at times are found to be there in our country, then we do vaccination campaigns. We do vaccinations for many diseases and also we treat them. In terms of production ,we train farmers on animal on good animal husbandry (poultry, small and large stock ) ,we do feed formulation and artificial insemination trainings for them. That is generally my job.
Pros: Good learning experience as the government is well resourced to cover all aspects of agriculture
Cons: I feel that we could do more to increase agricultural production in my country, it's just that the sector is politicised

Just okay
I love my job and passionate about it, I love field work, I like it when I'm able to bring changes at my workplace but unfortunately the red tape just sucks! My capabilities and creativity are limited by the political influence, if some authority wants things to favor their own political agenda, it has to be done that way without being questioned. I love my colleagues though I feel being taken for granted by them for the first time in my life. I enjoy making trainings and presentations, holding workshops and being in control, where I can show my creativity. Well, my job isn't too hectic, I'm able to do other things
Pros: leave study and pension
Cons: not challenging enough and no chances of promotion because Im not friends with the authority
