Good learning curve, good personal traits discovered in dealing with custormers and with colleagues

Daily work day: Typing (MS Word & Excel), setting up of accounts, filing, copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, receipting, banking, reconciliations of accounts, sending out of statements on a monthly basis, month end, answering telephone, taking messages, dealing with telephonic and walk in queries, receiving mail, writing it up in the Mail Register and distributing to the relevant departments and general office duties also forms part of my daily routine. Got along very well with co-workers and assisted where assistance is needed though not neglecting my duties. I have learnt to work independently and also in a team. The part I enjoy most about my line of work is solving queries, going into the history of an account and if there are any qeries, solve them for custormer. The most challenging part is contacting for monies but that goes with the job. Some customers are okay but then there are those who can and is difficult.

Pros: Great on the job learning opportunities
Cons: Not going up...stagnet in same position

A Glimse of GHHS

we teach in a christain environment. we are all from the same religious believe and we have a very healthy relationship with one another. because we a multi racial and cultural combination it is valuable to learn about other cultures and how they do things. a real learning experience. teaching subjects i love. we live in a post mordern society with technology improving and young mind developing fast it is a real challenge to keep their interest and attention to their work.

Excellent learning curve

Working on debtors gives me the opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis. A typical day for me would start with checking on our bank statements payments that have been made for learners accounts, receipting money that comes in over the counter and thereafter updating the debtors with payments received. Banking is made up on a daily basis as well and also checking on the age analysis of the debtors and making call where necessary. I have a very good understanding relationship with colleagues and I am able to work well with everyone.

Pros: Good opportunity to meet and deal with parents on personal basis
Cons: When phoning for monies and learners cant return to class due to unpaid school fees
