Typical working day: Auditing slot machines to ensure balancing of figures Relationship with co-workers: People are friendly and everyone gets along with each other I have learnt a lot about gaming and the gambling industry I enjoying investigating and solving problems within our machines The most challenging aspect of my job is making sure that figures are balanced, it gets really frustrating when there is no solution to a problem.

Learning curve

Working at Gold rush as a payout cashier has taught me that in life ypu start somewhere even if it's not what you studied for. I have learned how to be patient and view life in another perspective because being young, I thought after tertiary evetything would run smoothly but now I know that you work for everything and everyone's journey is diffefent. I am thankful for the opportunity and pray that from here on I'll be getting an internship to prosper in my career.

Pros: Getting experience and not being unemployed.
Cons: Long working hours, the pay is not enough, the building conditions and lack of communication from the management level to employees.
