It has been the best learning experience
I am a very calm person, always willing to learn new things.I like to challenge myself, recently I took a challenge to learn Afrikaans in a month and everyone in the office thought I was crazy but I did and at least now after two years in Cape Town I understand basic Afrikaans.First thing I do when I get to work is I write down what needs to be done on the day and I keep a simple tab of what I competed, challenges I faced and whats the new thing I learnt.I believe that everyday there should be something new you learn as a person especially in the workplace where you are surrounded by great minds. Accounting used to be very challenging for me and when I started my currently job I had to learn and understand accounting but I took the challenge and today I am confident working with financial statements and ratios.I enjoy interacting with clients and going through their business challenges, success stories and planning.
Pros: Learning opportunities
Cons: CONTRACT WORK

Good Exposure
I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The culture of the organization is good for one to start their career in as it is very welcoming and you are constantly surrounded by hard workers who also push you to always do your best. I have learnt and been exposed to a lot such as recruitment and selection, performance management, payroll, skills and development and scholarship work. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on the scholarship project ad having to interact with students and different institutions, advertising the scholarship, recruitment and selection, interviews, contracts and payment schedules and disbursements of funds. The most challenging of the work has to be payroll, it needs a lot of focus and involves a lot of different reports and it was my first time being exposed to it but I learnt a lot and had to discipline myself to being detailed focused and patient.
Pros: Great exposure to different fields
Cons: Reporting to three people, my manager and 2 HR officers

The company is still young and try to develop every fase of the business.
The company has to many people that does not know what they must do. Management is clueless. Workday is crisis management. My relationship with co-workers are good at plant level but are seen as trouble maker from management. Learned that renewable energy is a must for the world. Enjoy being able to give experience and hard work in a area which is new and eco friendly. The most challenging part is to keep up to date with the new software and to convince them that it can work most of the time just as good without it.
Pros: know more than they do
Cons: bad benefits for this area

Good Overall Company
Overall it is a good company. However, in some instances, over qualified individuals are employed in certain roles making them under utilized. The benefits included in the salary package are excellent. The working environment is excellent.
Pros: Great working environment
Cons: Nothing really
