Good coarse to study as entry to new career.

I had a great experience, I got to know how to stand for myself and grow as a woman. I learned more on pathology side and got attached to practicals and working with various patients and Doctors. I enjoyed my training as Phlebotomy student and glad I passed my board exam and now am a qualified medical TECHNICIAN in phlebotomy. Good learning experience

Working at my current place of employment is a stressful environment due to the workload and demand to get results out timeously. I have a professional and good relationship with fellow employees. I have a wide range of knowledge from working in a clinical pathology lab. My main focus area is hiv viral load testing and clinical trials. I also have experience in Elisa plate testing, paternity testing, std detection, qpcr, western blot, chemistry, serology and hematology.

Pros: Able to learn various testing methods and instruments.
Cons: Working shifts, no proper rewards program, no incentives, few opportunities for promotion. Unsatisfactory salary in comparison to other medical institutions providing the same services.

Good challenges.

It has been very challenging i must say and also good in a way because challenges are what makes you grow as an individual. I have learnt that people are different and they have different backgrounds so you must always respect their values, beliefs and opinions. I enjoy working with my colleagues and helping out people, i am a very passionate person, i believe in sorting things out especially when you had an misunderstanding with that person, apology is the best and you continue with your work. I don't criticism as an offence, i take is as a learning curve.

Global labs is a good company, with great exposure. People are exposed to diversity. The company consists of a number of people that work together , they keep the companies best interest at heart.
