Interpersonal skills development and time management.

A typical day at work would include processing of invoices, preparing payment runs for the week and reconciling of client accounts to ensure that we remain up-to-date with payments. To conclude the day I would have a progress report with my line manager and also ask if I could assist in any ad-hoc activities on their behalf.I work in a team of five, they are all older than I am and I enjoy working with them because they all bring something different to the team, I'm the latest to join the team so they've all taken up a mentor-like role with me just ensuring that I'm able to complete all my allotted tasks and that I'm always striving to learn more, I enjoy working in teams because it presents a great opportunity to learn various tasks and even systems.

- Ensure all manufacturing procedures are running correct. - Excellent relationship with co-workers. - Learnt to problem solve with the minimal to no support (being on night shift). - Manufacturing medication that I know helps patients in the end. - Running the manufacturing plant with minimal support on night shift.

Hard working

I believe I am a suitable candidate that can add value in the Organisation. During my employment I have developed lot of technical skills such as -Proper planning (time management), Team work, (work efficiently to meet deadlines) -Communication skills (integrate well with different cultures) -I am also computer literate e.g. word, excel. -Trouble shooting of instruments such as GC and HPLC (most of the time I don’t need an instrument technician unless it is a major problem) Working in different departments has developed my communication and adaptive skills, independence and co-ordination. And as an analyst in a pharmaceutical industry I learned a lot about being accountable and paying attention to detail, planning and ability to work under pressure.

Good Company

GSK is a great company to work for. A typical day is fast paced with meetings from back to back especially with agencies. My relationship with other co-workers is very good as we get along very well and able to work together to achieve what needs to be achieved. I have learnt a lot of soft skills as well as technical skills related to my job function and other functions. I enjoy the most the corporate culture that the company has it accomodates all people and of different backgrounds. The hours are flexible which allows an individual to get to the office early and be able to leave early. One of the most difficult thing is being constantly being challenged by competitors regarding our brands.

Learning alot about machines.

Working for gsk was a blessing, I met so many people and I've learnt so much. On a daily I would operate a machine that packs grandpa into boxes. Once a month for a week, I would do weight sampling, checking the wrapper of each machine is the right weight of grandpa in it. Down side is, they lead people on and take to long to make people permanent.

Pros: The money is good and you learn alot
Cons: No sign of permanent positions

Speak French and English at advanced administration communication level. Very good with softwares, faster learner. Multi-tasked. Very friendly as coworker, I can empower collègues with my knowledge.
